Reimagining the ’70s abode designed by architect John Walling, a collaboration of designers were given inspiration by the owner in the Coachella Valley.
Inside, the home has transformed into a transportive oasis centered on a theme far removed that far from the typical desert setting of Southern California. The homeowner, known for his appreciation of all things Polynesian and South Pacific, has infused the space with a nostalgic, organic surf-tiki atmosphere.
The house proudly showcases items from his personal vintage collection, accompanied by descriptive texts, while surfboards provide a striking backdrop in the family room.
